Betty Sue Carter Transou passed away April 26, 2015. She was born in Splendora, Texas to John Wesley and Mary Elner Carter on December 1, 1928. She is survived by sons, David Wall Transou III and wife Cindy, John Wesley Transou and Robert B. Transou, grandchildren, David W. Transou IV, William Edward Transou and wife Nikki; James Robert Transou and wife Heather, great grandchildren, Andrew Tyler Transou, Kimberly Presley Trevino and Caitlyn Paige Transou, sister, Mary Jo Pouncey and brothers, Leroy Carter and wife Tommie; Buddy Carter and wife Florence. Numerous nieces, nephews and friends also survive. Visitation will be held Thursday, April 30, 2015 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Cashner Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Friday, May 1, 2015 at 3:00pm in Cashner Colonial Chapel with Pastor Ray Willis officiating. Burial will follow in Morgan Cemetery.
