Beverly Jo Braden

Beverly was born on November 17, 1938, in Iowa City, Iowa, the daughter of Fedale and Lillian McIntosh.

She graduated from West Liberty High School in 1957 and from Stephens College in Columbia, Missouri in 1959, where she majored in pre-school education. She taught at the Coralville Cooperative pre-school following college. When she lived in Phoenix, Arizona she continued teaching pre-school and later taught kindergarten for several years. After moving to Texas in the 1970’s Beverly worked as a property manager for several apartment complexes.

Beverly and her husband, Lynn Braden, were members of April Sound Church since 2002, and she was also a member of the April Sound Ladies Association.

Beverly was preceded in death by her parents, Fedale and Lillian and by her brother Jack L. McIntosh of West Liberty, Iowa, as well as her aunt Maxine Pearl Eckhardt of Muscatine, Iowa.

Beverly is survived by her husband Lynn C. Braden, her brother Bruce McIntosh of Miramar Beach, Florida and nephews Steven, Brian, James, and Jeffrey McIntosh, and several great nieces and nephews.

After her final disposition, Beverly’s ashes will be taken to Iowa where there will be a Celebration of Life memorial at a later date.
