In 1961, Brenda married Paul Tisdale Jr. The two spent several years living in Hawaii and went on to share 48 years of marriage together. Throughout their life together, Brenda and Paul enjoyed traveling, spending time in their RV, and competing in barbecue cook-offs, where they brought home their share of wins and made many memories along the way. Paul passed away in 2009.
Brenda was also a longtime part of Tisdale Company, where she worked alongside her family and played an important role in the family business. In 2012, she became President of Tisdale Company, continuing her involvement in a company that had been such a large part of her family's life.
Outside of work, Brenda enjoyed the things that made life fun. She loved trips to Delta Downs, playing bingo, watching a good movie, and settling in with a good book. She especially enjoyed traveling with her family and going on cruises.
Brenda was an animal lover and shared her life over the years with her dogs, Muffy and Woody. Later, she adopted her cat, Peanut, who held a special place in her heart and was her companion for the last 12 years.
Above all, Brenda loved her family and especially treasured her children and grandchildren. She valued the time they spent together, whether traveling somewhere new or simply enjoying everyday moments with the people she loved.
Brenda is survived by her daughter, Lisa Fuller, and her husband, Mark; her grandchildren, Rebekah Fuller and Alex Fuller; her son, Louie Tisdale; her granddaughter, Hannah Tisdale; her brother, John Dannar, and his wife, Joyce; as well as her nieces, nephew, extended family, and friends.
