Carlton Horace Weathers

Carlton H. Weathers, 92, was born on July 8, 1924 to J.F. and Emily Weathers in Eureka, Texas and passed away December 28, 2016 in Conroe, Texas. After high school Carl went in to the military and served for a total of 12 years, he served in the Army, the Airforce and the National Guard. Carl went back to school and earned a degree in Electrical Engineering. He worked for the Houston Post for 20 years and after he retired they moved to Crystal Beach and then moved to Conroe, Texas in 1997. Carl loved to garden and fish; he was a loving husband, father, brother and grandpa. He is preceded in death by his parents, J.F. and Emily Weathers; brothers, John, JC, Jimmy; sister, Kathleen. Carl is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Geraldine Weathers; children, Patty and her husband Mark, Susan; grandchildren, Chereme, Chastity, Cody and Shaylor; great grandchildren, Erin, Kimberly, Kaitlyn and Kyler; sisters, Mary Emily, Bobbie, Peggy and Patsy. Also surviving Mr. Weathers are his beloved pets - Peanut, Apple Boy, and Bitty. Visitation will be held at Cashner Funeral Home in Conroe, Texas Saturday, December 31, 2016 from 11:00am to 12:30pm with the funeral service starting at 12:30pm. Interment will be directly after the service in Garden Park Cemetery.
