Carmen Guzmán de Spring, Texas, falleció pacíficamente con su familia a su lado el viernes 7 de junio de 2024. Nació el 28 de abril de 1960 en El Salvador, hija de Pedro y Ana Ascencio.

A Carmen le sobreviven su amado esposo Salvador Guzmán; hijo Rudy Manuel Guzmán; los hermanos Alejandro Ascencio, Manuel Ascencio Sr., Pedro Ascencio Sr. y David Ascencio Sr.; madre Ana Graciela Martínez ascencio; hermanas Consuelo Ascencio y Corina Ascencio y numerosas sobrinas, sobrinos, familiares y amigos.

El velorio será el domingo 16 de junio de 2024 de 5:00 p.m. a 9:00 p.m. Los servicios funerarios serán el lunes 17 de junio de 2024 a las 10:00 am en Cashner Funeral Home. Seguirá el entierro en el cementerio de Garden Park.
