

Carol Ann Robuck (Tusing) Hauser passed on to the Lord on Friday, November 12, 2021 at the age of 78. A longtime resident of Montgomery County since 1972, with homes in Spring, Oak Ridge North, The Woodlands, and finally Shenandoah, TX. for the last 16 years. She passed into Jesus’ arms at her home after suffering from Altzheimers and related illnesses for the last 6 years.
Born January 27, 1943, in Houston, at St. Joseph’s Hospital to Oran Odell Robuck, Sr. and Floy Sarah (Sims) Robuck of Houston (both deceased). She has two brothers, Ronnie (deceased) and Oran Odell, Jr. who lives in Oak Ridge North. Carol was married to Michael Brenamen Tusing for 30 years (Deceased 1994) and Daniel Eugene Hauser of The Woodlands since September 4, 1999.
Educated at Sam Houston High School and Massey Business College, Carol was married and spent her early years in the Philippines near Subic Bay in Manila. She and her husband ran a real estate and appraisal company, Tusing and Associates for many years and by herself for 10 years after his untimely death in 1994. She sold her business and retired in 2005.
Carol was active in our community becoming President of the Montgomery County Republican Women Association, participating with two Chambers of Commerce, a Bible school teacher, an office building manager, a self taught accountant, as well as supporting her spouses in their extensive community activities. She loved her local Bible School Class of Believers at The Woodlands First Baptist Church. She supported the Pregnancy Assistance Center (PACN), two orphaned children in India, Interfaith of the Woodlands, and her local church, The Woodlands First Baptist . An avid reader and sudoku player, she cherished her long term friendships with “ the girls” and a local reading club before her illness impacted her life. Her smile, demeanor and faith helped get her through many obstacles she would later face.
Carol is survived by her spouse of 23 years, Dan Hauser currently residing in Shenandoah, TX. All her combined families are alive today. Her children, Andrea Tusing Dolan and spouse Eddie live in Spring, Eric Tusing lives in Oak Ridge North, Mark Hauser lives in Conroe, while Brooke Hauser McVarish and her husband Scott live in Spring. Travis Briggs, from Dan’s prior marriage with Cosette Smith Hauser (deceased) lives along with his wife, Erika in Covington, Louisiana. Numerous grandchildren include Sarah, Lauren, Katlin, Gracie, Beau, Nicholas, Bennett, Riley, Tyler, Jacob, Cole, Mason, Callie, and Hunter along with Orion, their first great grandchild. Carol’s brother, Oran Jr. lives with his wife, Linda, in Oak Ridge North with three children nearby. Larry and Debbie Robuck, John and Yvonne Robuck Wendt, Michael and Angie Robuck. David and Sophie Robuck along with many nieces and nephews of the Robuck, Tusing, Sims, and Hauser families. Michael Tusing’s brother, Luke, also lives locally along with other Tusing relatives.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 20th at 11:30am in the Chapel at The Woodlands First Baptist Church at 11801 Grogan’s Mill Road, The Woodlands, TX 77380. Visitation will be available prior to the ceremony from 11:00am to 11:30am and after with a reception in The Great Hall to follow.
A private family burial will be held at 2pm at Cashner Funeral Home at 801 Teas Road, Conroe, TX. 77303.
In lieu of flowers or plants, the family requests any contributions on Carol’s behalf go to Interfaith or to The Woodlands First Baptist Church.
A special thanks goes out to Lisa Jackson, her Caregiver and soul sister of Angel Hands Homecare team, that helped Carol and Dan get through the last few years together. Also thanks to Avatar Home Hospice for the journey and comfort coming home.
