Carol Lea Hughes was born in Houston, Texas, June 5, 1953. She was the daughter of Lloyd and Charlotte Hughes. Carol graduated from Conroe High School and went on to become a Neurological Neurosurgical Specialist. Carol held Head Nurse positions at Ben Taub and Memorial Herman hospitals, in their neuro departments and cancer research. Carol ended her esteemed career life as a Neuro Specialist Paralegal. Carol is survived by her sisters, Sharon Woodard and Linda Loranger. Brother Larry Hughes and wife Teresa. Carol also had a son and grandson, Brady Kohler and Julian Kohler. There are many extended family members and friends who will remember her caring for others and her big heart fondly. Carol passed into peace August 18, 2026, with family at her side. Her spirit will be forever in our hearts.
