Carol Ann Mathieu

Carol Ann Mathieu, born on July 7, 1946, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, passed away on January 6, 2026, in Magnolia, Texas, at the age of 79. She was the beloved daughter of William Schweppe and Helen Devine Schweppe.

Carol was a devoted wife, having been preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Richard G. Mathieu. Her legacy as a devoted wife and beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother will be cherished by her family and all who knew her.

She is survived by her sons: Richard Mathieu Jr. and his wife Amy of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, along with their daughters, Kate and Emma; Patrick Mathieu and his wife Chanda of Magnolia, Texas, and their children, Paige and Austin Porter, Cade, and great granddaughter, Kinsley Mae; and Brian Mathieu and his wife Linda of Reading, Pennsylvania, and their children, Morgan, Shane, and Andrew. Carol is also survived by her brother, William Schweppe, and his wife Judy of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Carol‘s presence will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
