Carol Rome Stacy

She was born December 30,1939 in Gretna, Louisiana and was the fourth child of William Andrew Rome and Terez Ann Lupe Rome. She was preceded in death by her parents,sisters, Jackie Roy and Joyce Lauland, and brother Allen Rome.

Carol enjoyed bowling with Jack in her early years of marriage. She was devoted to raising her three children and supporting her husband as an Air Traffic Controller. She was a faithful homemaker and spent hours cooking for her family. They depended on her to organize day trips and camping trips at the lake. Carol spent time outdoors, water skiing, swimming, and gardening, which was her passion. She could take any plant, cut a piece off, and make it grow. She loved reading and discussing books with friends and playing cards every Wednesday, which she did for years.

Carol was a faithful member of the Longmire Road Church of Christ for many years. She will be deeply missed by her children; Michele Ann Bentley (Bob), Michael Jay Stacy (Annette), and Bart Edward Stacy (Jill), her grandchildren, great grandchildren, her closest niece Ann Sanders, and her church family.

A memorial service will be held to honor Carol’s life on Saturday, May 27, 2023 at 1:00 pm at the Longmire Road Church of Christ in Conroe, Texas.
