Catarino "Mark" Mendez

A Mass of Christian Burial for Catarino Marcos Mendez, age 38, of Conroe will be held on Monday, April 23, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Rosewood Memorial Park Cemetery, Humble, Texas. Visitation is scheduled for Sunday, April 22nd from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Cashner Funeral Home with a Rosary at 6 p.m.

Catarino was born October 15, 1973 in Lockhart, Texas and went to be with the Lord on April 16, 2012 at his residence in Conroe, Texas. He was preceded in death by his father, Catarino “Lefty” Mendez; brother, Catarino Mendez; and father-in-law, Ronald Killion, Sr. Catarino is survived by his loving wife, Tonya Marie Mendez of Conroe; daughters, Jamie Mendez, Marissa Mendez and John York, and Emily Mendez; sons, Ricky Mendez and Vanessa Gonzales, Catarino “Seth” Mendez and Julian Mendez; mother, Hope Belmontes and Maurillo Garcia of Martindale; sister, Tracy Ann Mendez of Martindale; brother, John Mendez of Austin; grandparents, Matilda Reyes of San Marcos and Thomas Reyes of Martindale; grandchildren, Abigail Lynn Mendez, and Ja’Koby Tre-von Riley York; and mother-in-law, Rhonda Borski and Thomas Borski. Pallbearers will be Ricky Mendez, Ronnie Killion Jr., Shawn Killion Sr., Elias Ramirez, Thomas Reyes, Joe Reyes, Nathaniel Olveras, Albert Sanchez, John York, Jesse Trevino, Renee Lopez and Johnny Walea.
