

Chester Lee Redmon went to his heavenly home, July 6, 2017, at the age of 95. Chester was born April 3, 1922 in Little Rock, Arkansas, to Harry and Julie Ritchie Redmon. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter Annette; grandson Daniel Hill, and 16 brothers and sisters. He is survived by his loving wife of 75 years, Hazel Redmon of Fulton, Missouri; children: Sandra Morris and Rev. Marion Morris of Onalaska, Texas, Kenneth and Dene Redmon of Midland, Texas and Stephen and Sherri Redmon of Fulton, Missouri; sisters, Lorene Cook and Pauline Romero (Frank) of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; grandchildren: Seth Gideon, Edith Price (Roger), Jim Morris (Lisa), Chuck Morris (Sharon), Mark Morris (Becky), Nathan Redmon (Sally), Natalie Barthen (Pheyland), Shanelle Hill and Chet Redmon (Aubrey); great grandchildren: Jesslynn Cross, Makenna Cross, Stephanie Tokash, Melanie Polston, Austin Morris, Kaitlyn Morris, Tara Duran, Kyle Morris, Markllin Morris, Angelica Morris, Alastaire Morris, Marybeth Morris, Izack Redmon, Annabelle Redmon, Kedron Barthen, Asher Barthen, Jess Meeder, Grace Hill, Naomi Hill and River Redmon; and numerous great-great grandchildren.
Chester was a decorated World War II Army Veteran who was awarded the Silver Star. He worked for over 40 years as a union painter with the Painters District Council #3 in the greater Kansas City area. He was a charter member of Faith Temple Church in Kansas City Kansas.
Funeral service will be at 3:00p.m. Sunday, July 9, 2017 at the Church on the Lake, 8125 Old Hwy 190 Livingston, Texas 77351, with the Rev. Kenneth Redmon officiating and Pastor Ed Jennings assisting. Burial will be in the Floral Hills Cemetery in Kansas City Missouri.
