Clarence Walter Pahnke was born in Evergreen Park, Illinois on March 13, 1940 to Walter and Helen Pahnke, and passed away in Conroe, Texas on June 27, 2015 at the age of 75. He graduated from Leo High School where he earned a Football Scholarship to the University of Miami. He earned his Masters in Business Finance and was a member of the Iron Arrow Honor Society. He married his High School Sweetheart Marita in 1957. They move the family to Houston, Texas in 1966 where he started businesses including, Blackburn Instruments and Varicraft Industrial. They moved to April Sound in 1976 where he started Lake Conroe Motors and Woodson Business Park. He was the 1st President of MGA at April Sound. He enjoyed golf, tennis, traveling, playing Gin Rummy and spending time with his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and grandson Chaz Pahnke. He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Marita Pahnke of Montgomery, Texas; children: Sharon Boulware and husband Scott of Bridgeport, Texas, Sandra Dupree and husband Dale of Arlington, Texas, James Walter Pahnke and wife Kelli of Montgomery, Texas, Diane La Valley and husband Jerome of San Antonio, Texas and Lance Pahnke and wife Tina of Conroe, Texas; grandchildren: Eric Boulware, Jeannie Boulware, Kevin Boulware, Jordan Dupree, Bryan Dupree, Jake Dupree, Keagan Pahnke, Taylor Pahnke, Kathleen La Valley, Andrew La Valley, Chad Pahnke and Zane Pahnke; great grandchildren: Alexis Boulware, Ethan Boulware and Cameron Collazo. The family would like to give special recognition to his caretakers for the last several years, Tasha Hernandez, Trisha Chambers, Tomika Rogers and Courtney Lee. Visitation will be at Cashner Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 1, 2015 from5-7pm. Funeral Service will be at the April Sound Church on Thursday, July 2, 2015 at 11am with Pastor Dowen Johnson officiating. Entombment will follow in the Garden Park Mausoleum. Pallbearers for the service will be: Jim Pahnke, Lance Pahnke, Scott Boulware, Jerome La Valley, Eric Boulware, Jordan Dupree, Bryan Dupree and Jake Dupree.
