Daisy Means Brown, 89, went to her heavenly father on Tuesday, November 10, 2015, in Conroe, Texas. She was born on January 1, 1926, in Belton, Texas to Benjamin T. and Leland Means Brown. Daisy graduated from Temple High School and attended the University of Texas where she was a member of Pi Beta Phi. She married Chester D. Brown, Jr. on October 12, 1946. They resided in Temple, Midland, San Antonio, and finally Conroe. Daisy is survived by her adoring husband, Chester, and two daughters, Gay Nolan (Tom) and Jennifer Rodman (Tim). Also survived by grandchildren Jim Ohlenburg (Amanda), John Ohlenburg (Alicia), Scott Rodman (Danielle) and Keely Van Essen (Seth) five great grandchildren and beloved sister Mellie Brand (John). She was very much loved by all and will be greatly missed. Services will be held Monday, November 16, at Metcalf Funeral Home, 1801 E. White Oak Terrace in Conroe at 12:00pm with burial to follow at 2:15 at Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Dr., Houston, Texas
