Daisy T. Eduardo, beloved wife and mother, was born July 26, 1936 in the Philippines and passed away January 10, 2021. She graduated from Far Eastern University in 1961 with a degree in Business Administration. Daisy married Alfredo R. Eduardo in 1963 and they immigrated to the United States, as Alfredo served in the U.S Navy. They had their first child in 1965 and their last in 1969, with the passing of their new born son in 1967. Florida to California, Guam to Tennessee, the young family moved as Alfredo was stationed in various military bases. Daisy worked at various banking institutions as the family moved. From 1974 to 1979, Daisy was employed as a civilian with the U.S. Navy. In 1979, the family moved to Spring, Texas where Daisy and Alfredo were both employed with the Exxon Corporation. After 18 years with Exxon, Daisy retired to their ranch in Willis, Texas, a lifelong dream of Daisy and Alfredo.
Daisy has always been known to be selfless, cheerful, always with a smile on her face. She put her family and friends first and was a friend to all. Daisy showed her unwavering faith and unending generosity by volunteering and supporting her church, St. Joseph Catholic Church in New Waverly, Texas.
Daisy is preceded in death by her husband, Alfredo; her parents, Francisco and Francisca Tan; brothers, Freddie and Alvin Tan; and sisters Esmeralda Tan, Yolanda Tan, and Sister Alice Tan RVM. She is survived by her daughter Ana M. Eduardo and her husband Nieves Alfaro, III, grandchildren Nicholas Alfaro and Olivia Alfaro; daughter Amelia Eduardo; sister Betty Waldman and her husband Gary Waldman, and nephews Francis Waldman, Benjamin Waldman, and Derrick Tan, and niece Vanessa Tan.
Visitation will be at Cashner Funeral Home on Monday, January 18, 2021 from 5-6 pm with a Rosary Service beginning at 6pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in New Waverly at 11am with Father Daokim Nguyen presiding. Entombment will follow in the Garden Park Mausoleum.
