I met David in October of 2018 and spent 7 straight weeks working with him. We were working on the final construction and commissioning phase of a new drilling rig in Abqaiq Saudi Arabia . When we were taking a break, off shift or travelling in a bus or SUV together we always ended up talking about cars, engines, motorcycles, fishing or hunting. He spoke very highly of his wife Stephanie and he joked saying he would tell her "you know what the worst part about you is?.... Me" then he'd have a laugh. David was good to work with, he was easy going and willing to lend a hand. He will be missed by all the men on SANAD 2009 in Saudi Arabia.

Broke in to the oil field and Dave was my Tool pusher, what I remember most in the beginning was he had to have his Red Bull everyday.
I stayed friends with Dave through out the years, was always there to lend a hand, the kind of guy you call at 3 am when you need to pull your truck out of the ditch, will be missed.
