David (known as DJ was a motorcycle enthusiast. He enjoyed everything from fixing them to riding them and regularly participated in fundraising rides. His kind-heartedness would lead him to help his friends, family and neighbors' complete yardwork and repairs around the home. David went out of his way to help his Step Dad with numerous projects.

He was self-taught in tearing down engines and all types of equipment, and rebuilding them to complete and satisfactory renovation. He was a real "jack-of-all trades," working in heating and air conditioning, construction such as building structures, plumbing, roofing, welding, and minor electrician repairs.
