

David was a loving husband, father and friend who will be missed by all. David was born September 2, 1941 in Carslile Texas to Roy W. Stewart and Leoda M. Waggoner.
David graduated from French High School in 1959, and served in the U.S. Navy from 1960 to 1964 as seamon. He began working for Southern Pacific Railroad in 1968 as Conductor.
He also served as President of the Cape Malibu CMPOA, a member of St. Josphie Catholic Church and loved to play golf.
David is survived by his wife Thersea Stewart, three sons Michael D. Stewart, Mark S. Stewart, Christopher R. Rasberry and wife Yoko Rasberry; one daughter Michele D. Tallman and husband Timothy S. Tallman; granddaughters, Amanda D. Tallman, Jolie T Stewart, Sophie Rasberry; grandson, Jeffrey S. Tallman, Joshua Rasberry; great-granddaughter, Destiny G. Tallman. Along with numerous other Friends and relatives.
Visitation for David will be held Tuesday July 26, 2011 from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. with a Rosary at 7 p.m. at Metcalf Funeral home. Services will be Wednesday at 3 p.m. Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
