Deborah grew up on Shotwell Street in Houston's Denver Harbor neighborhood, where she attended Wheatley High School. Those roots helped shape a life marked by steady devotion, thoughtful care for others, and quiet strength that carried her through every season.
Deborah’s working years reflected a hard-earned diligence and reliability. She spent much of her career at Anadarko Petroleum and later worked for several other employers before retiring. In retirement, she cherished the simple, meaningful joys of daily life, time with her husband, Sam Steve Snow; her two dogs, Skipper and Ginger; and, most of all, her children and grandchildren, who remained at the center of her heart.
A faithful woman, Deborah’s love for the Lord guided her days. She listened to KSBJ throughout the day on her Alexa speaker, watched church on Wednesdays and Sundays, and spent time reading her Bible. Her compassion and generosity were also evident in years of tithing and donations to KSBJ.
Those who knew Deborah understood the comfort of her prayers, offered daily for family and friends, and the calm wisdom of a woman who loved Jesus and knew where she was going. Even in serious moments, her gentle sense of humor brought comfort, put others at ease, and made them feel deeply cared for.
Deborah was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Pauline Ehrhart; siblings, Grace "Tootsie" Lamb, Lou Ellen Ehrhart, Kenneth Ehrhart, Phillip Ehrhart; first husband, Donald Ray Crawford Sr.; and nephews, Ian Ehrhart and Rory Ehrhart.
