Delanie Belle Moore, 102, of New Waverly, Texas passed away peacefully on October 17, 2025. She was born on April 1, 1923, Easter Sunday, in Little Rock, Arkansas. Her parents were Percy Earl Moon and Ruth Rasbury. Over the years, she lived in Monroe, Louisiana, Pasadena, Texas and New Waverly, Texas.
Dee is preceded in death by her husband, Eliam Jessie Moore, her son Eddie Dee Fleming and son-in-law Tommy Smith. She is survived by her three daughters: Gail Ward (Ralph), Beverly Blackwell (Manson) and Sharron Smith. Dee is also survived by twelve grandchildren: Terry, Sandy, Patty, Tracie, Ricky, Timmy, Pat, Alyce, Shannon, Sean, Michael and Stephen; 25 great grandkids and 14 great-great grandkids.
Dee and Jessie enjoyed bowling, fishing and garage sales. In her older years, she enjoyed participating in activities at First Baptist Church in New Waverly.
She will be greatly missed by family and friends.
