Donald P. Crews, born February 16, 1930, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loved ones on Sunday October 30, 2016, after a long illness. Don was a retired United States Airforce veteran of 27 years. He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years Gloria Mae Crews, son Dale and wife Winnie, daughter-in-law Debbie Crews wife of late son Darrell Crews. Four grandchildren Sarah Brakefield and husband Dan, Dara Boatright and husband Leve, Devin Crews, Katy Keel and husband Kirk. Eight great grandchildren Hunter, Beau, Vincent, Makala, Ben, Kadence, Kennedy and Koleson. He loved and took great pleasure in all of these children. Visitation will be held Sunday, November 6, 2016, at Cashner’s Funeral Home from 5:00pm to 7:00pm. Family visitation will begin at 4:00pm. Funeral Services will be at 11:00am on November 7, 2016, at First United Methodist Church, 4308 W. Davis, Conroe, Texas 77304. Military Burial Services will be held at the VA National Cemetery at 1:30pm on November 7th, 2016. In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to The American Diabetes Association.
