Donny,
You will be missed until we meet again, but I know that you are with so many who have entered into eternity before you and you are rejoicing and receiving so much love. The Word says that there will be no more pain, no more sorrow...and I know that you are comforted by our sweet Jesus who loves you so much. He has gathered you in his arms and carries you.
Thank you for being an encouragement to me and Michael in our time of need. You were there for us in ways that you will never know. Michael was able to bond with you when that is such a hard thing for him to do. It helped him adapt to the difficult separation of me and his father.
Thank you for being sweet to my little Daphne and keeping an eye on her while I was at work. She really enjoyed your company. She felt safe and secure in your care.
Thank you for letting me talk about things that were difficult for me to talk about. You were quiet and didn't try to tell me what I was doing right or wrong. You were a kind ear that listened.
You will forever hold a place in my heart and the heart of my family and I look forward to a welcoming hug from you when I come to join you some day. Promise me we will go fishing.
Your forever friend and sister in Christ,
Patricia Scott

One of my favorite memories of Donnie was when he was
around 4 or 5 and he and Tom, Ron and our son Keith were playing in our backyard. They had such joy splashing in the wading pool and laughing their heads off. Such energy.

Don had such a wide grin. May happy memories comfort your family.
