Donia Martha Bachmeyer

Passed away on August 25, 2010

Donia Bachmeyer was a devout Catholic wife and mother who was totally devoted to her husband, her children and their families. She passed away on Wednesday morning August 25, 2010 in Conroe, Texas. Donia was born near Plantersville, Texas to William and Elizabeth Kowis Wischnewsky on April 4, 1929. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Alfred Bachmeyer, who passed away just 5 months before her. Donia was the last of eleven brothers and sisters. She is survived by her sons, Dennis and wife Dinah, Dan and wife Janelle, Clyde and wife Cheryl, Craig and wife Debbie and Clay John, and daughter, Betty Ann and husband Ralph Laskoskie. Donia and Alfred also had 15 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Jody Bachmeyer, Brian Bachmeyer, Westley Bachmeyer, Clint Laskoskie and Chris Bachmeyer. Donia was a member of the Catholic Daughters and attended Mass at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Plantersville, Texas. Visitation and Rosary will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, August 27, 2010 at Metcalf Funeral Directors, Highway 105 at 1801 White Oak Terrace, Conroe, Texas. Funeral Mass will be at St. Mary’s Church in Plantersville at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday August 28, 2010 and interment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
