Dorothy is preceded in death by her parents, Willie D. Smithson and Bammie Lee Smithson, brothers, Billy Joe Smithson and Bobby Louis Smithson, sister, Mary June Johnson and nephew, William N. Hopkins.
She is survived by her son, Dwayne D. Underwood, daughters, Dianna L. Field and T. Roxane “Roxie” Underwood-Woodall and husband Bill; S. Kristine Brown and Husband Charles, granddaughters, Sara E. Field and Victoria R. Field and sister in law, Kathy Smithson.
Services will be held in Tuscumbia Oakwood cemetery at a later date.
