Dotti was born to Sharkey Joseph & Dorothy Louise Bergeron on November 15, 1943 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She attended Louisiana State University.
She was a member of the Sugar Land Chapter of Toastmasters International. Dotti was a gifted storyteller and received many awards throughout the years for speeches she prepared and delivered.
Dotti’s passion was music, and she performed at the Manvel Opry in Manvel, Texas. She loved singing and playing her guitar. Dotti was an inspiration to many at the Houston Area Parkinson’s Society (HAPS). Her vivacious spirit encouraged others as she met this challenge head on through dance and exercise classes and joining in the HAPS awareness events such as races and dance-a-thons. As a Certified Laughologist, she held sessions to help others with breathing techniques and by lifting spirits through laughter.
As a follower of Jesus Christ, she and her husband, Michael were active in their local prayer group. She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Visosky and parents, Sharkey & Dorothy Bergeron. She is survived by her sister, Gail Ray of Jarreau, Louisiana and numerous Visosky brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, September 28, 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Kevork Armenia Church, 3211 Synott Road, Houston, Tx 77082. A Reception to Honor Dotti's Life will follow.
