Edna Mae Francis Nelson

She is preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, Norman A. Nelson and her parents, W. A. “Bill” and Bettie Lee Wetz.

Edna was a member of the Heights Women’s Club and the Houston Senior Choir. She retired from Gulf Oil after many years of service.

She is survived by three sisters Rosie Walker, Charlene Byrns and Betty Brockman; one brother Julius Wetz; three nieces Caryn Lynn Smith, Tammie Bayard, Tini Siders; six nephews Jimmy Wetz, Tommy Wetz, Robbie Wetz, Mark Byrns, Tracy Brockman, Lance Byrns; and the loves of her life, her two pets Flavio and Rexie.

A private family inurnment of Edna and Norman Nelson will take place at a later date.
