

Edwin James Krause, age 78 of Conroe, passed away at Conroe Regional Medical Center Nov. 26, 2010 after a long illness. He was born in Holland, Tx. On July 24, 1932 to Albert A. and Ella Rose Krause. Edwin is survived by his wife of 58 years, Evelyn Shirlene Krause of Conroe, and two daughters and son in laws: Debra and Richard Sain of Conroe and Karen and Kenneth Wallace also of Conroe, and by his son and daughter in law Larry and Lisa Krause of Spring. He has six grandchildren: Scott Sain, Brent Sain, Courtney Zuniga, Lindsey O’Dell, Bradley Krause and Melissa Krause, and two great grandsons: Christopher Sain and Caleb Zuniga. Edwin also has two loving Brothers, Pete Krause of Temple and Calvin Krause of Huntsville, and one loving sister Evelyn Tomes of Kentucky. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister Pauline Wicker, and one brother Hulen Krause. Ed was in the US Army during the Korean War and he owned his own printing business for many years before he retired. Ed loved to work and was a real people person. He loved people and people loved him back. He never met a stranger. Visitation will be Tuesday from 6-8 pm at Cashner Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be Wed. Dec. 1, 2010 at Cashner Colonial Chapel at 10am with Pastor Tim Byrd. Burial will be at the Mt. Tabor Cemetery in Madisonville.
