Elizabeth Marie Sowden of Conroe, TX passed away on June 3, 2026, surrounded by her loving family and friends. Elizabeth was born June 12, 1945, in Philadelphia, PA to William and Elizabeth McLauchlan.
Elizabeth, fondly known as Beth, loved the beach, reading, dancing, football and the Beach Boys music. The love she had for her family was deep and unwavering!
She is proceeded in death by her husband, William Sowden and her daughter, Michele Crone. She is survived by her loving daughters: Karen Goodwater and her husband Daniel, and Mary Drody; Son in Law: Anton Crone; Grandchildren: Morgan and Brooklyn Crone, Connor and Gavin Goodwater as well as Kaila and Zander Drody.
Visitation will be held at Metcalf Funeral Directors, 1801 E White Oak Terrace, Conroe, Texas, on June 9, 2026, from 10:30 am to 11:30 am.
A Graveside Service and interment will take place at Garden Park Cemetery, 801 Teas Road, Conroe, Texas, on June 9, 2026, at 12:00 pm.
