

Ernest W. Hildebrandt went to live with Jesus on July 17, 2016. He was born in Spring, TX on July 1, 1925 to Theodore and Hulda Hildebrandt. Ernest was a man of strong faith, believing in the power and strength of Jesus Christ’s love. He left his invaluable godly legacy to his family. Ernest leaves his wife, Anna Hildebrandt, of New Waverly, TX; three daughters, Jan Morrow, husband Mark, Marsha McComb, husband Rick, Beverly Lofton, husband Ron; two sons, Kevin Hildebrandt, Bubba Klostermann, wife Penny; four granddaughters, Allison Anderson, husband Allen, Ashley Swoope, husband Dylan, Erin Turner, husband Daniel, Jennifer DeKerlegand, husband David; two grandsons, Jonathan Lofton, wife Elidia, Will Klostermann; ten great grandchildren, Destiny, Hailey, David, Taylor, Jessica, Madison, Penny, Charlotte, Shannon, Rebecca, and number eleven, Baby Ava, due in September; and many special friends.
Ernest is a World War II veteran. He served in the Army from 1942-1946 as a Morse code operator. A visitation is scheduled for Tuesday evening, July 19, 2016 from 5:00-7:00 pm at Cashner Funeral Home, 801 Teas Rd., Conroe, TX. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at 10:00 am at the cemetery of St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church, 21434 E. Hardy Rd., Houston, TX 77073. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial gifts be give to St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, 2100 Tickner St., Conroe, TX 77301 or to your favorite charity.
