With profound sadness and heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, Ernestina Sanchez, who entered eternal rest on May 13, 2026.
Born in Mexico on January 11, 1974, Ernestina was a devoted Catholic woman whose faith, strength, and unconditional love guided her throughout her life. She was a loving mother who dedicated herself fully to her children and family. She found joy in cooking for those she loved and had a special gift for making everyone around her feel welcomed, cared for, and deeply loved.
With incredible courage and determination, Ernestina came to this country at a young age with faith and hope, not knowing what the future would hold. Through hard work, sacrifice, and perseverance, she built a life centered around her children, always striving to give them everything she could. Her strength and selflessness created a lasting impact on everyone fortunate enough to know her.
She is survived by her loving children, Doris Beth Gonzales and husband Primo Patlan; Karina Saavedra and husband Alexander Ashley; Andrea Saavedra; and Hugo Angel Estrada. She was also a proud and loving grandmother to Victoria Arellano, Raymon Patlan, Leonel Alejos, and Liliana Ashley. Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing she is now resting peacefully in the arms of the Lord. Her love, sacrifices, and beautiful spirit will continue to live on through all who knew and loved her.
Funeral services will be on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, at 2:00pm at Cashner Funeral Home. The family will receive friends beginning at 1:00pm. Interment will follow at Garden Park Cemetery.
Catholic Prayer

and let perpetual light shine upon her.
May she rest in peace. Amen.”
