Heaven smiles and Earth cries as Imogene Westbrook went home to rest with The Lord on Friday, December 17, 2010 at her home in Conroe, Texas, surrounded by the loving family she cherished. Born September 25, 1929 in Camden, Texas, Imogene was the daughter of Joseph and Susie Griffin. She is survived by her loving husband of sixty years, Andy Westbrook of Conroe; children, Milton and Patty Westbrook of Ganado, Texas and Lavinia Westbrook of Willis, Texas; siblings, Bobbie Dyer of Houston, Johnnie and Carol Griffin, also of Houston and Dennis and Sharon Griffin of Waller, Texas; grandchildren, Aubrey and Anna Westbrook of Edna, Texas, Johanna and Matt McShan of Driftwood, Texas, Rocky and Blair Ellis of Willis, Texas and Keli Ellis of Austin, Texas; great grandchildren, Brooklynn Ellis and Hank Westbrook; many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and beloved family and friends. Imogene and Andy have been long-time members of the First Baptist Church of Willis. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, December 21, 2010 at 11:00am at First Baptist Church of Willis to mourn the passing and celebrate the life of a wonderful Christian wife, mother, sister and friend.
