Ezequiel “Zeke” C. Galo, 1947 – 2021, went home to be with the Lord on January 1st. He was preceded in death by his mother Ilda Galo, father Americo Galo and brother Manny Galo. Zeke was a beloved family man and is survived by his wife of fifty years, Izabel Galo; son and daughter-in-law Zeke Galo Jr. and Stacey Galo; his daughter and son-in-law Sandy Sanso and Adrian Sanso; his four grandchildren: Dekota Galo, Aliyah Sanso, Christian Sanso and Samuel “Wesley” Sanso; his twin brother John Galo and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Zeke embraced his Portuguese heritage by maintaining dual citizenship, being the spiritual leader of his family and exemplifying the strong work ethic that was ingrained in him by his parents. When he wasn’t working Zeke could be found fishing on the lake, which like many things in life he excelled at, winning the Big Mouth Bass Fishing Tournament on Lake Conroe in 2000. Zeke will always be remembered for his Christian values, sense of humor, passion for sports and love of family and friends.
Funeral service will be held at Cashner Funeral Home, in Conroe, Texas on Friday, January 8, 2021, at 10:00am with visitation starting at 8:30am prior to service. Interment will follow service in Garden Park Cemetery.
