I attended church with Shell for many years at Allendale Baptist Church. Shell was always serving the church in one way or another. He was a great man and a great friend. I will miss his kindness and wit.

Have many memories of Rochelle and his family, his Mother and Father were wonderful people! Enjoyed visiting them in Miami when Rochelle was working for Pam Am Airlines! My uncle Max Jolley worked with him there also! My Dad and Rochelle were great friends! We will all feel the loss of him!

Jerry and I joined Allendale in 1999, right after our daughter Carla's wedding was held there, she was already a member there. Shell was one of the first to welcome us! We were friends from the start. He told us, well we were sorry to see Carla leave, but we gain two good people. Of course Jerry was the one that was the worker in the church, but Shell always made a point of saying hi to us every Sunday!! He was a good man, and Christian, he taught Sunday School every Sunday, hardly missed a Sunday! He will be very missed!! Love you Shell God speed! If you happen to run into Jerry, tell him Cathy says hello!
