Funeral services will be held the same day at 2 pm, on Thursday, January 23, 2020, at Cashner Funeral Home, located at 801 Teas Road Conroe, Texas 77303 with the Pastor Raymond McDonald, of The Vineyard Church of Conroe, officiating. Burial will follow at Conroe Memorial Park Cemetery, located at 1600 Porter Road, Conroe, Texas 77301. Arrangements are by Cashner Funeral Home.
Frances was born in Seguin, Texas to William Horace Randell and Daisy Mae Banks on June 22nd, 1930. She went to school at San Jacinto High School, class of 1948. She graduated from the Army Nurses Corps in 1953. She was a veteran of the Korean War, served in the Army, and was awarded the rank of 1st Lieutenant. She married Robert “Bob” Lawson Bryant on November 26th, 1962 in Middlesboro, Kentucky. She worked as a Nurse Anesthetist for Michael E. DeBakey Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Houston for 10 years. She was involved in several clubs throughout her life, including Booster Club ’46-’48, Y Teen Club ’48, Gauchos ’45-’46, Red Cross Club ’47-’48, Volleyball City Team ’46-’47 (Captain in ’47), Volleyball Intramurals Captain ’46-’47, Army Nurses Corps Bowling League ’53, and the Middlesboro Country Club Woman’s Invitational Golf Tournament ’71. She was also an avid fisher and traveler of the United States. She received the Army of Occupation Medal and the National Defense Service Medal due to her time spent in Germany.
Frances is preceded in death by William Horace Randell, Daisy Mae Banks Burger ’87, Robert “Bob” Lawson Bryant ’04, Pamela Ann Bryant Delgadillo ’06.
Frances is survived by Children: Deborah Jo Bryant, David Wayne & Nicole Ann Bryant, and Cheryl Lynn Browne & Tom Anthony Scahill. Grandchildren: Sydney Michelle Bryant, Taylor Wayne Bryant, Alexis “Lexi” Nicole Bryant Potts, Keagan Wayne Bryant, Roberto Francisco Delgadillo, Petin Armondo Delgadillo, Pamiela Anna Delgadillo, Valerie Lynn Browne, Jennifer Leigh Browne, and Nine Great-Grandchildren.
