

Frances Clavelle Searcy, age 89, passed away on July 8, 2026. Born November 16, 1936, in San Antonio, Texas, Frances was a beloved and cherished presence in the lives of those who knew her, remembered for her gentle spirit, kind-hearted nature, and the steady devotion she showed to family and friends. She lived in Willis, Texas.
Frances spent her early years in San Antonio, Texas, where she lived with her mom, Clavelle, her dad, Fred, and her sister, Charlene. Throughout her life, she was known for her compassionate and thoughtful way of caring for others, offering generosity and loyalty with a quiet sincerity and an honest heart.
In 1957, Frances married Glenn D. Searcy Jr., and together they moved to Houston, Texas. She was a devoted and faithful mother to two daughters, Debbie Searcy Mowry and Carrie Searcy Harrison. Family remained at the center of her life, and she adored her daughters deeply, holding them close with steadfast love and care.
Frances found joy in creativity and beauty—she loved to paint, do ceramics, and create floral arrangements, embracing anything crafty with care and imagination. Her warmth extended naturally to the world around her, including a deep love for animals. She also enjoyed dancing and traveling, and those who shared these moments with her will remember not only her gentle presence, but also the lightness of her humor and the comfort of her company.
Frances was preceded in death by her father, Fred Fields; her mother, Clavelle Fields; and her daughter, Carrie Harrison.
She is survived by her sister, Charlene Coates; her daughter, Debbie Mowry and husband Mark Manus; granddaughters, Kayla Mowry and Jessica Harrison; other family, Jennifer Luning and husband Ken Luning, Kim Zavala and husband Jorge Zavala, Amy Rothe and wife Leigh Guldig, Alex Zavala, Nick Zavala, Chris Zavala and Ben Zavala. Numerous other relatives and host of friends also survive.
Visitation will be held at Cashner Funeral Home, 801 Teas Road, Conroe, TX 77303, on July 10, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
