What can you say about an individual that conveys how you felt about him?  Red and I Army'd together and when we mustered out spent the next five years as roommates.  He was my best friend and confidant.  I considered him the brother I never had.  I lost contact with him over the past few years and try as I might, could not contact him.  I wish now that I had tried harder.  The world is a lesser place now that he is gone and I shall miss him greatly.  I know God has seen the kind of man he was and has made a special place for him in his Kingdom.  My condolences to Robbi, his children and Linda.  May God see fit to make light your grief and fill your hearts and mine with all the great things we can celebrate about his life.  God Bless you all.

"He ain't heavy, he's my brother." Frank was born in Odessa in '48 & was an '66 OHS grad. He loved the Friday night lights, baseball, Nicky's & shooting pool. He was a proud Vietnam veteran and very active in his Conroe area DAV.  His fellow vets were with him in life & escorted his cremains to the Houston National Cemetery. He loved to bug me when we were kids.  He was generous, sometimes to a fault: when someone admired something, he'd give it to them--even if the item actually belonged to me, his sister!  He was so kind, good, smart & witty & was usually far ahead of most of us mortals. I love you Frankie & know you're in heaven with God & Mother & Daddy, Grandma & Granddaddy, baby Cheyenne & Kyle, & all of our Pierce, Harling, Allison, Reveal (Reveile), Reeves etc. kinfolk.  I pray that when it is my time, God will take me there too. Thanks for being Uncle Frank to my progeny. Your Robbi & kids & grandkids and I will always be close.

We didn't see Red that often.  Seems like it was only at funerals of family members, but there were other gatherings too!  John said he enjoyed talking to Red.  He said that Red was so full of knowledge and he wondered how he learned all of the things he knew. I enjoyed visiting with him at the Christmas gathering at Momma's.  We talked about some ornaments that he had brought us one Christmas Eve.  They were from when he was working for 7 Eleven (I think).  Every year I think of Red, and will continue to think of him, when we decorate our tree.  We will miss him!

frank and i were good friends at ohs. he and i and kerry johnston and larry mckay ran around together quite a bit and frank and i burned up the road in his gold ford galaxy graduation night.  have not seen him in many years but i loved him and will miss him.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to Robbi, their children and the rest of the family. Frank was a fine friend and decent man. He could make you laugh. He endured many burdens in life that would have broken many. May he rest in peace and comfort.

My thoughts go out to Frank's family, I know how hard it is to loose someone you love, I had lost all contact with Frank since High School, but he filled my days with wit, and fun in Mrs. Gentry's home room class for 3 glorious years.

Robbie good to speak with you today but sad under the circumstances.  It has been so long since we last spoke and I do miss it.  The very best to you and the family.  Floyd Pierce kept me advised to Frank's health and the family.
