Gary Caddell of Willis, Texas went to his eternal home on Saturday, September 11, 2021. Gary was born on March 2, 1960, in Highland Park, a suburb of Detroit. He was 61 years old. In 1981, he married the love of his life, Diana Caddell. Together they built a beautiful life and had two children, Kelly and Jenna.
He was a man of integrity with a strong work ethic. Gary could build or fix anything, and if he couldn’t fix it, nobody could. He enjoyed living on Lake Conroe. He loved to go out on the boat and relax on the sandbar. You could often find him in the pool swimming with his dog. He took many camping trips including going to the beach, riding his Ranger at ATV parks, and shooting guns in Grapeland.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Marilyn Caddell and his first wife, Diana Caddell. Gary was fortunate to find love again and is survived by his wife, Cheryl Caddell; daughter Kelly Gholston, husband Caleb, granddaughters Madison and Brooklynn; daughter Jenna Killingsworth, husband Kirk, grandson Grayson and granddaughter Harper; stepsons Casey and Cody Eager; father Norman, sisters Terry Montgomery and Janet Lax and many other close family and friends. Gary was the type of man who had a very close circle. He treasured his family and loved his friends.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, September 15, 2021, from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Cashner Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 16, 2021, at 10:00am in Cashner Colonial Chapel with burial following in Garden Park Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Kirk Killingsworth, Caleb Gholston, Les Young, Dennis Hom, Marc Hogue and Jamie England.
