G.W. was born September 12,1944 and graduated from Conroe high school May 28,1965. He went on to serve in Vietnam with the Fourth Medical Battalion and then went on to work for the Post Office for many years until retirement.
G.W. shared 42 wonderful years of marriage with Elizabeth Kay Fullen and together they built a home filled with love, laughter, faith and commitment.
G.W. is preceded in death by his wife Kay Fullen, parents George, Sr and Ida Fullen, sisters Anna Windham & Georgia Chatham.
G.W. leaves behind his son George Fullen, III and wife Roxanne, daughter Ida Stephens and husband Adonis, 7 grandchildren; Donnie, Victoria, Matthew, and Gabriel Fullen and
Carlee, Kaitlyn, and Gracie Thomson, 4 great grandchildren; Braxton, Julianna, Koman, and Stetson and his brothers & sisters Ida Harris, Dora Portillo, John Fullen, Ben Fullen, Mark Fullen, and Ernest Fullen.
G.W. had a passion for family, travel and being a faithful Jehovah's witness. Above all else GW. will be remembered for his love of family and friends. His memory will continue to live on in our hearts and the hearts of everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
Visitation will be held at Metcalf Funeral Directors, 1801 East White Oak Terrace, Conroe, Texas on August 7, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm with a Celebration of Life the following day at Metcalf at 1:00 pm
A Committal Service will be held at Copeland Chapel Cemetery, McCaleb Rd, Montgomery, Texas on August 8, 2026, at 2:30 pm.
