George William Noel

George William Noel passed away Friday, January 31, 2014 at the age of 72 in Conroe, Texas. He was born February 17, 1941 in Kansas City, Missouri to George Sr. and Grace Noel. A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, February 7, 2014 at 12:30pm at Cashner Funeral Home. George was a member of 1st Presbyterian Church, a life member of the Elks Club, as well as achieving the level of Eagle Scout. He devoted 25 years for Firestone Tire and Rubber and 25 years with Allstate Insurance Company. He was an avid Golfer, car collector and highly enjoyed Friday night poker. George was known to many as being generous, loyal and giving. He is preceded in death by his parents, son, George William Noel III (Buddy) and father in law, Calvin Galm. He is survived by his loving wife of 20 years Marilyn Noel of Conroe, TX, daughters, Laura Garbe, husband Chris of Breckenridge, CO, Charlene Cessna, husband Bryan of Magnolia, DE, son Aaron Keeler of Evergreen, Co, and Katherine McCormick of Conroe, Texas, mother in law, Mildred Galm of San Antonio, Texas, grandchildren, Cooper and Tucker Garbe, Zachary, Sara and Isabella Cessna. Life long friend, Toby Powell and wife Vanessa of Conroe, Texas. He leaves behind numerous other relatives and friends.
