Funeral services for George Edward Weeks will be held Sunday, October 9, 2011 at 3:00pm at the Rabon Chapel Church of Christ with interment following in Cartwright Cemetery. Visitation will be held Saturday, October 8, 2011 at Cashner Funeral Home from 5:00pm to 8:00pm. George was born June 23, 1925 in Madisonville, Texas to Frederick and Idella Weeks and passed away October 6, 2011 in Montgomery, Texas. George was an M.C.H.D. First Responder, a Volunteer for the Lake Conroe Fire Department, and an avid gardener. He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Dorothy Weeks; sons, Edward Earl Weeks and George Lee Weeks; sister, Ruth Otto; brothers, Banks Weeks, Marvin Week and John Weeks; grandchildren, Micah Weeks, Casey Desina, Melanie Weeks and Mary Weeks; great grandchildren, Seth Desina, Jace Desina, Madelyn Weeks, Emma Weeks and very special friends, Alexis Cartwright, Gentra Cartwright and Morgan Cartwright.
