Glen attended multiple colleges after high school, he was super smart, but could never decide on a major. He loved being outside, hunting or fishing and even worked as a hunting guide in Utah for a while. His love for the outdoors was reinforced while working for the Coastal Prairie Conservancy and Warren Ranch. He always wanted to be outside or work with his hands. Glen was known for fixing items or repurposing them, his saying was “Oh don’t throw that away, I can fix it”.
His love of reading and Texas history had him claiming to be a “scholarly aficionado” on the subject. Glen was one of the friendliest people you would ever meet. He was a great storyteller of tall tales, that you couldn’t decide were true or not. He had a soft spot for children and critters alike. His favorite thing was being “Poppy” to his grandchildren.
Glen is survived by his loving wife of 12 years, Stephanie Nuinez, parents Joe and Carol Nuinez children Ashley Pence and husband Chris, Beaux Nuinez and wife Katelyn, Jack Nuinez and wife Bailey, and Toby Nuinez and girlfriend Haley Laudermilt, grandchildren Luke Banik, Lilli Moore, Levi Eason, Lane Eason, Zoey Pence, Kylie Nuinez and Kohen Nuinez, sister Laura Moore and husband Shane, and their children Brooke and Ashlee Moore, in-laws Darrell Schroeder and wife Mary Lou and Kathryn Kenzel and husband Rob, brother-in-laws Stephen Schroeder and wife Randy and Scott Schroeder, sister-in-law Sarah Reynolds and husband Walter.
