On Friday, October 18, 2013, Gregory David Brown entered into eternal rest. Funeral Services will be held at Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Dr. Houston, TX 77038, on Friday, November 1, 2013, 12:30 P.M. with Rev. Jeff Powers officiating. Gregory was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana to Gilbert and Gene Brown. He joined the U. S. Navy where he served with honor in Vietnam aboard the U. S. S. George Washington (CVN 73). He was married to Margaret Bennett Brown for 21 years and for much of his time lived in the Conroe and Houston area. He built a career in the retail business. He will lovingly be remembered by his loving wife, Margaret Brown; daughters, Lari Brown of Stafford, Texas, Kelly and husband Ronald Dutton of Montgomery, Texas; son, B. J. Jarrett Jr and wife Dana of Kingwood, Texas; mother, Gene Brown of Houston, Texas; brother, Daniel and wife Debra Brown of Houston, Texas; grandchildren, Aiden Baggett, John Loring and Maggie Loring.
