Harvey Lee "Mutt" Coe

Harvey Lee (Mutt) Coe was born May 17, 1943 in Conroe, Texas, to Helyn and A.F. Coe and went to be with his family unexpectedly on July 18, 2012. He is survived by his loving wife of 43yrs Barbara Coe; sons Daniel E. Coe and John Wood; daughter Vickie Mae Wood; grandchildren who he loved very much and were his pride and joy, Karly and Rory Curtin, Madi Wood and Alyssa Coe and numerous family members, friends and co-workers beyond count. Harvey graduate from Conroe High School in 1961 and attended college at Lamar in Orange, Texas. After college he served four years in the United States Army and was honorably discharged. He then pursued a career in Electrical and Mechanical Design. In 1978 he opened his own landscape company. He was an avid stamp collector and loved to travel but his most passionate hobby was watching old westerns on TV. He loved to tell stories and make you laugh. A memorial service in Harvey’s honor will be held on Wednesday, July 25, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Cashner Funeral Home in the Cashner Colonial Chapel with Pastor Tim Byrd officiating.
