Harvey Lee Gorski, loving husband, father, brother, uncle, grandfather, and friend, went home to be with our Lord, at 71 years of age, on May 19, 2018. He is preceded in death by his parents Wallace & Clara Gorski; Brothers Patrick, Leonard and Mark Gorski; and nephew Sean Gorski. He is survived by his wife Wanda Daniels Gorski of 37 years; daughters Lisa Morrison & husband Mike, Carrie Trevino & husband Rob; grandchildren Caroline Morrison, Ellie Morrison, Mary Tess Morrison, Robbie Trevino, Christopher Trevino, and Jonathan Trevino; sister Paulette Zawacki & husband James; mother-in-law Jean Roberts, countless nieces, nephews, and friends. After graduating from St. Pius in 1965, he went into business driving a dump truck with his father-in-law and brother-in-law for about 3 years, worked as a machinist for Right Machine and retired from Logan Oil Tools in 2008. Harvey rarely took sick days. He was the hardest working man around and would always go out of his way to do what he could for everyone around him. Harvey loved deer & dove hunting, fishing, a good game of golf, and you would always find him sitting on his front porch, people-watching and enjoying an ice-cold Bud Light! He was a proud Catholic and a 4th degree Knights of Columbus member of the Our Lady of the Pines Council # 1759. Harvey had a deep love in God and shared his love of the Lord with others. He will be missed by all but never forgotten. The family would like to ask that in lieu of flowers, that a donation be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. A visitation for Harvey will be held Monday, May 28, 2018 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Metcalf Funeral Directors with a rosary at 7:00 PM. A funeral mass will occur Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 109 N Frazier St, Conroe, Texas. Interment will occur at Forest Park - The Woodlands Cemetery, 18000 Interstate 45 S, The Woodlands, Texas. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared with the Gorski family by signing the guest book.

Harvey was a very unique guy. He was always a very gracious host to anyone that ever visited his house or was ever in his company. We have had some wonderful times with Harvey at the deer lease in Cotulla. He loved to see us all have a great time and did everything to assure that we did!!! He was a one of a kind guy! It was always very obvious how much he loved Wanda and was always wanting to make sure she was taken care of and was happy!!! Harvey left his mark here on earth as a very kind and gracious man!!! He will be greatly missed!!!
