Henry "Pop" Wieghat

Henry Reinhardt Wieghat, Jr. was born to Henry and Lydia (Finke) Wieghat in Brenham on March 31, 1931. He passed peacefully at home on Saturday March 10, 2017. Baptized as a young child, he renewed his commitment to the Lord the week before his passing. Henry was raised on the family farm in Washington County, there he attended community schools. He moved to Houston in his teens and went to work for Suburban Homes as a frame carpenter learning the trade. He was drafted into the Army and was stationed in Germany. He was honorably discharged upon his 2nd term in the Army. Upon returning to Houston he went back to work for Suburban Homes. He bought a dump truck and started H & R Construction setting forms. He also worked for Sage Homes as a foreman and later superintendent. In 1960 he started Precision Homes and worked hard every day since, until he recently fell ill. Henry loved his time spent on the farm on Lake Limestone tending to his cows, as well as hunting every time he had the opportunity. He was preceded in death by his parents. His grandson Kurt Wieghat. Brothers: Lonnie and wife Viola, Ervin “Fritz”and wife Mae Ola, Arnold, and Melvin Wieghat. Sister: Malinda Naumann and husband Lonnie. Henry is survived by his children: Wally Wieghat and wife, Laurie, Craig Wieghat and wife, Chrissy, and Tappy Wieghat. Sister: Allyne Emshoff and husband, Erwin. Brother: Billy Wieghat and wife, Judy. Grandchildren: Jack Wieghat, Jason Wieghat and wife Jackie, Justin Wieghat and wife Dayna. Great-grandchildren: Bethany, Jade, Anna, Joshua, Kyndall, Teagan, and Kynadi. Sister in law, Nilah Wieghat. He is also survived by his office family and sales team at Precision Homes that loved and cared for him. Numerous other relatives, friends, and business collegues survive him as well. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 16, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Cashner Funeral Home in Conroe. Funeral services will be at the Splendora First Pentecostal Church in Splendora on Saturday, March 17th at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Ronald L. Culberth to officiate. Burial will follow in Rosewood Memorial Park Cemetery in New Caney. Pallbearers will be his dedicated friends and employees, Royce Landua, William Keen, Chris Perkins, Dean Henricksen, Kyle Thomas, Paul Kent, Chris Conduff, and Bruce Parker, and George Espinoza. Honorary Pallbearers will be David Finley, Donnie Buckalew, Colton Finley, Ryan Wallace, Bobby Finley, and Ricky Sharbeno.
