Ivee Isabell Foley, 20, completed her earthly adventure on the morning of June 8, 2026, and began her eternal adventure with her Lord and Savior, Jesus. She was surrounded by family who loved her and will feel the weight of her absence for the rest of their lives. She was born on May 8, 2006, the youngest of four children. From the moment she entered their lives, everything changed. She brought an energy and spirit to our family that made every moment more meaningful.
Ivee loved life and was the giver of insurmountable joy. She was expressive, funny, sassy, sweet, brutally honest, but loving, caring, generous, and thoughtful. She not only shared her generosity in the form of gifts, but in the way she chose to dedicate her time to her family and friends. She loved to share her favorite movies, games, music, and hobbies. She always had a desire to create and move. She was an artist, Just Dance choreography genius, and lip-sync queen. Her love of music was extensive, from K-pop, to screaming, to worship music.
To say Ivee was competitive is an understatement. There was always a smirk on her face when she was inevitably winning a card game. Ivee was what one would call rare in all the ways someone can be because she had a gift for winning every-single-game from the beginning! Even when the odds were against her. And if by some chance you were beating her, you would be met with a stern, distinguished glare paired with an eye roll.
Ivee’s life itself was a miracle. She was strong and had a resilience to persevere no matter what she faced which was tested by her diagnosis of an aggressive brain cancer at 7 months old. She beat so many odds. We were told that she would struggle in school and in other areas of learning, but Ivee proved the doctors wrong by completing Algebra, high school English, History, and Science. Ivee was cherished by her whole medical team, especially her Radiation Oncology nurses and Dr. Thomas Merchant of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. They were involved in caring for Ivee for nineteen years, helping the entire family with the sincerest care and treatment they could offer. We cherish Ivee’s love for them and the teddy bears bearing their names.
Ivee was preceded in death by her great grandmothers, Ivee Long (her namesake), Vernetta Matthews, Wesley McDonald, great grandfathers and many great uncles, and her beloved Goldfish, Goldie, whom we laid to rest five days prior.
Ivee is survived by her loving parents Emmett and Hope Foley, her sister Brittney Henderson (Drew), brother Ethan Foley, sister Brianne Foley, her nieces Violet and Iris Henderson, maternal grandparents Hugh and Nancy Long, paternal grandparents Emmett L. Foley Jr. and Charlotte Boatwright, many uncles, aunts, and cousins. She also leaves behind her loving dogs Eva and Bobear, along with her rabbits, Dusty and Angel.
The family will welcome friends for visitation on Sunday, June 14, 2026 from 5:00-7:00pm at Cashner Funeral Home. The funeral service is on Monday, June 15, 2026 at 2:00 pm in Cashner Colonial Hall at Cashner Funeral Home, 801 Teas Road, Conroe, TX 77303 with burial to follow in Riverside Pioneer Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Emmett L. Foley III, Ethan Foley, Drew Henderson, T J Torres, Ryan Vaughan, and Keith Vaughan.
