Funeral services for James Edward Burling will be held Thursday, August 12, 2010 at 10:00am in Cashner Colonial Chapel with Bro. Stevenson officiating. Visitation will be held Wednesday, August 11, 2010 from 1pm to 6pm at Cashner Funeral Home. James Edward Burling, 81, of Conroe, TX, born December 20, 1928 in Elba New York and went to be with the Lord on August 9, 2010. Jim was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend. He is survived by his loving wife Kannie Burling, son, Daniel Burling and wife Jean, Richard Burling, Jamie Burling and wife Jan, Marc Burling and wife Jan, Marc Burling and wife Stephanie and Elbert Ouzts, daughter, Denise (Burling) Harter and Kannie Reeves; grandsons, Martin Reeves, Jausha Campbell, Connor Ouzts, granddaughter, Courtney Heuermann, numerous other grandchildren and great grandchildren, siblings, Jack Burling and wife Berti and Frances Burling. Numerous nieces and nephews and friends also survive. James was preceded in death by his parents, John Burling and Lydia (Schultz) Burling and by his brother, George Burling.
