Just heard the news brother,  rest easy. Be a peace, and fly high. You will forever be missed

My heart is broken to lose my wonderful friend.  Kindness and generosity always a part of his concern for others.  Rest well, dear friend.  You are always in my prayers and fondest memories.

Jim touched so many lives in such a positive way, he will be missed by many. I worked with Jim at Chelsea / Continental Airlines and have such fond memories of how he made such a difference both professionally and personally. Jim was so extremely smart and always had a way of making others feel comfortable even when he was deep into a topic and most everyone else had glazed over eyes:). Jim was genuinely interested in people, both friends and colleagues, and their well-being. He was extremely dedicated to his work and the company, putting others first. He was humble, gracious, funny, quirky and generous to all he knew. My deepest sympathies to his family during this difficult time. May the memories and laughter provide some comfort. 

I may have worked with Jim for many years but think of him as much more than a colleague but as a friend. We taught classes together and always enjoyed seeing our students succeed to reach their goals to become CPAs.  What I remember most about Jim is that he was truly a caring man and I know how much he loved his family. We will all miss him so!

I feel honored to have had the pleasure to work with Jim for many years. 
He was a very patient and caring teacher. Jim held a corporate job but he always found time to share his pleasant and professional attitude with the students striving to become CPA’s.  Jim was very smart and talented at accounting and excelled at teaching online and in the face-to-face classroom. He helped students understand difficult material because he truly cared about their learning.
Jim was also a friend who although he had a super busy scheduled always talked about his children and his hopes for their happiness and success.
He will be missed by his students and coworkers at Lone Star College.


I am so sorry for your loss.  I did not know Jim well, but he had an amazing sense of humor.  Our love and prayers are with you.

I’ll remember Jim for his kindness. I’ll remember him as quiet and warm, with a great sense of humor. I’ll remember him for his incredibly great taste in music,  as a sharp dresser, and a loving father to his children and to my husband who wasn’t born of his own, but loved him as a son loved a father. I’ll remember him in Jesse’s sweet face and humor, and in Jamie’s intelligent, driven, and meticulous ways. I’ll remember how he made me feel welcome. Rest easy Jim. You will be missed.
