John served in the United States Army and was a distinguished marksman. Throughout his life, he was known as a hard-working man whose steady patience and gentle manner made others feel at ease. In quiet, thoughtful ways, he showed compassion and generosity, offering kindness that was felt more often than it was spoken.
He was a devoted husband and father, and his family was the center of his days. Those who knew James will remember a cherished presence—kind-hearted, attentive, and consistently considerate of others.
In his free time, James enjoyed fishing, sports, watching TV, and playing Texas Hold Em—simple pleasures that suited his calm spirit and brought him genuine enjoyment.
