

James Caldwell Seaman passed away February 17, 2017 in Houston, Texas. He was born on November 28, 1945 to Willis Caldwell Seaman and Lois Denson Seaman in Beaumont, Texas. James proudly served in the United States Army and is a retired home builder after 35 years in Hardin County, TX. James was an active member in SWCRA Calf Roping Association and USCRA. He had a passion for racing, fishing and adored animals and enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren. James is preceded in death by parents, Willis and Lois Seaman, brothers, Fred Seaman and Larry Seaman. He is survived by his wife, Shirley Seaman, son, Britt Seaman and daughter-in-law Carla Seaman, daughters, Tammy Fuselier and son-in-law Mike Fuselier; April Travis and son-in-law Brent Travis and Rebecca Lopez and son-in-law Benjamin Lopez, grandchildren, Emery Travis, Ryder Richardson, Jordan Hightower, Hayden Seaman and Emily Seaman. Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 21, 2017 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at Cashner Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at 2:00pm in Cashner Colonial Chapel. Interment will follow in Garden Park Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Brent Travis, Benjamin Lopez, Tom Spirawk, Joe Copeland, Roy Beard and Dennis Hartt.
