It is with deep sorrow and heartfelt love that we celebrate the life of James Alan Sivil, a beloved brother, uncle, and friend whose kindness, generosity, and unwavering compassion touched the lives of everyone fortunate enough to know him.
James was a truly remarkable man whose character was defined by honesty, wisdom, humility, and an endless capacity for caring. Though he never married and had no children of his own, he lovingly embraced his nieces and nephews as if they were his own. He took pride in their accomplishments, supported them through life's challenges, and filled their lives with laughter, guidance, and unconditional love.
A gifted craftsman, James found great joy in woodworking. His talented hands created beautiful birdhouses and countless handcrafted treasures that reflected both his creativity and his generous spirit. He had a special fondness for bluebirds and delighted in watching them nest and thrive, finding peace and happiness in nature's simple gifts.
Those who knew James will remember his remarkable ability to make people laugh. He was a natural joker who could brighten even the darkest day with his quick wit, warm smile, and playful sense of humor. No matter what difficulties came his way, James rarely complained. Instead, he chose to focus on the good in every situation, teaching others through his example that hope, gratitude, and positivity could be found even in life's most difficult moments.
James leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and selflessness. His gentle heart, thoughtful nature, and steadfast devotion to family and friends will never be forgotten. While his absence leaves an immeasurable void, the countless memories he created and the lives he touched will continue to bring comfort and inspiration to those who loved him.

He was preceded in death by his father Larry W. Sivil, mother Stella Beatrice Sivil, brothers Ricky Sivil, Bill Sivil, Larry Thompson & Bobby Thompson. James is survived by His brother Joseph Sivil & his wife Sara Sivil, sister, Debra Carter, niece Jessica Grznar & husband Chris Grznar, nephews Jefferey Sivil, Jonathan Sivil, Larry Dean Thompson, Thomas & Kenneth Bartley, nieces, Theresa Thompson, Julie Sivil, Becky Sivil, Jennifer Sivil, Amy Sivil, great nephews Jacob & Brody Grznar
A Committal Service will be held at Garden Park Cemetery, 801 Teas Rd, Conroe, TX 77303, on July 28, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.
